Direct replacement to OEM W470589005900. This tool is used with W470589011400 (NOT INCLUDED) to properly install the pistons. Designed Detroit Diesel / Mercedes Benz truck engines EPA 07 and EPA 10 DD13 2008 - Current. Our tool allows the piston to be inserted into the cylinder bore without damaging the ring set. Simply lubricate the inside of the cylinder liner with clean engine oil and position the carbon scraper tool into the recessed area of the cylinder liner bee installing the piston.
